Researching
Based on the recent research literature in the area of early child development, the hypotheses for the Flintoclass curriculum design is derived to ensure the experiential learning principles are tailored for today's children.
Brainstorming
A wide variety of themes are explored by a team of early educators, pedagogy experts and child psychologists to identify concepts that are relevant to the child's immediate environment.
Ideating
A highly creative think-tank of toy designers, early curriculum designers, play therapists and pedagogy experts come up with fresh ideas to stimulate thinking and promote kinesthetic learning among children.
Prototyping
Flintoclass is pivoted around experiential learning. Preliminary versions of learning products are developed for each activity in the curriculum.
Acceptance Testing
Each product goes through several iterations before they get approved for invoking curiosity, enabling thinking and fostering child development besides focusing on one or more key learning skills.
Review
Design experts review each product for aesthetics, form and function from the perspective of early learning. Pedagogy experts and developmental psychologists assess the design for elements of play and kinesthetic approach to child development.
Refinement
A 3-way review from toy designers, pedagogy experts and child psychologists lead to further refinement in designing the hands-on exploratory learning products for Flintoclass curriculum.
Implementation
A full-stack Flintoclass curriculum is put into effect where children get to learn the concepts through play and experiential learning. Early educators are provided with the necessary learning aids and web-based training to implement the early learning program.
Evaluate
The prototypes are evaluated in stimulated learning environments with children. Based on the observation of children engaging with the learning products, further review suggestions are made.

Komal Jain
Komal Jain is a Psychologist passionate about Early Education and Positive Psychology. She is a published researcher and has presented scientific papers in the area of psychology. She is a certified Art Therapist, Special Educator and NLP Practitioner. Her goal is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to grow to their full potential.
Marwah
Marwah Zabeer specialises in early childhood education. She has hands-on experience in designing curriculum and researching current trends in early education. She has also worked extensively for children with special needs. She currently works towards improving the experiences of teachers and children in the education industry.
Sumitra Raghavan
Having worked in the domains of journalism and storytelling, Sumitra now helps in developing and streamlining content relevant to early childhood education. Her love for the language provides her with the motivation to present content in the simplest way!
Mohamed Tariq Hassan
Mohamed Tariq is an Industrial designer/Product designer from IIT, Guwahati, who finished his undergraduate degree in Plastics Technology from CIPET. He has hands-on experience in New Product Development, Design, Material Selection and Manufacturing Techniques. His keen interest lies in making experience-rich products with minimalism.
Divya Palaniappan
Divya Palaniappan is a Child Psychologist who specializes in Play Development. She has over 7 years of experience in the field of child development and early learning. She spearheads designing play-based, child-centric learning environment by devising teaching strategies that provide the right stimuli to nurture a child's natural ability. Her prime focus is on enhancing toddlers' early learning experiences, which shape them into confident and responsible individuals.
Sowmithra Thangaraj
Sowmithra is an industrial design graduate from DJ Academy of Design who enjoys exploring and working with children. Being passionate about creative education, she believes in providing an unstructured environment for children to play and learn through self-exploration.
Sakthivel Shanmuganathan
An experienced product graduate from NID with a demonstrated history of working in product and graphics. Currently, Sakthi is the Design Head at Flinto and leads a team of designers. His keen eye for detail helps him hone every product and graphic to ensure it is child-friendly.
Vimala V M
Vimala is a self-driven independent thinker with 15+ years of rich operational experience working across different industries. She has 8+ years of experience in the early childhood education space formulating & monitoring the effectiveness of policies and service, developing standards and ensuring that performance is managed in order to meet these.
